Dear Nadoos, let me breathe slowly out and get myself under control first...
Yes, it has been officially announced that Doona's Korean film that Doona mom has told us about is called "Dear Do-Hee" (도희야)
According to Korean internet news-Naver news-article, Doona is going to play a main character, “a policewoman”, with a child actor, Saeron Kim, in a Korean indie movie called “Dear Dohee” (도희야). The story follows a woman with sexual identity issues, who falls in love which crosses gender and age differences. The movie will be directed by Joo-Ri Jung. It is also produced by a Pinehouse Film company which is led by one of the best movie directors in Korea-Director Chang-Dong Lee (of Secret Sunshine, Poetry etc). It is said Doona’s main reason to be part of the movie was its script. Another respected actor of Korean cinema, Seung-Geun Moon, will be joining the cast. The film is set to crank-in in the beginning of this month.
I am like, Thank you God of the movies, Because. Dir Chang-Dong Lee is one of my fav. Korean directors ever,, and if he is producing the movie, I am sure Dir Joo Ri Jung will be just amazing. I wonder if the director Jung wrote the script herself??? I have a feeling that she/he did.
I can't wait, my dears, I can't wait for the movie to begin shooting and I can't wait for it to come out.
